After launching this website in 2011, it soon became a sensation in the world of young people wanting to get into the airline industry through one of the many cadet programs that exist. The site was originally launched as a forum and served as a community until it was hacked by spammers around 2015. We then changed the site to a more manageable static website that eventually picked up where the forum left off. With the change, we lost two of the three members of the website and I have been running the website on my own.
As a professional pilot, it is hard to manage the website, other business interests, keep up with my schedule and communicate with different airlines to keep you all updated.
I would love to see this site and all of the members in the Facebook community continue to bring the latest updates in the cadet pilot world. As the aviation shortage approaches, I think the cadet scene will definitely go through a boom and a resource like ours need to be around to accommodate it.
I’m thinking of taking the website down at the end of the year but open to anyone or group interested in keeping CadetPrograms.com website alive. We can discuss ownership opportunities…
I sincerely hope that you benefited from CadetPrograms.com up to this day and wish you all good luck in your journey to share the friendly skies. See you at 38,000 feet!!!
